This may shed some light on the subject.
The Creator is Yahweh. Son of Creator or Messiah is Yahshua.
It is important to use the name of Yahweh and Yahshua, as there is power in the name.
Elohim used interchangably between false deities (such as Palestinian Baal, also known as Moloch, Bel, or Saturn), angels, and to mankind and may have been referred to "Creator" in the form mighty ones, or mighty one. But since your soul is at stake, use the true form of Yahweh verses God. And Yahshua verses Jesus Christ. There was no J in the Hebrew, nor other languages until late 1600's. So that dispells Jesus or esus (deity name). There was a child born of a sister and her brother combination whom; were rulers in Greek and Roman times. It was ordered they were gods. They had statues made of mother and bastard child (Horus called Saturn, Father Time, God of Time, greatest evil) put in the pagen temples. This young child also killed his father so that he and his mother could rule. Mother Egyptian goddess Isis (Aset or Eset). (This statue and symbolism practice was brought into the Roman Catholic church to gain converts. Now called Madonna and child, Mary and Jesus Christ.)
Christ is derived from Roman rule under Constantine and Roman gods.
The Bible strictly says have no God. So why would the Creator call himself a idol from poured form? IF he is pourn, why does it say he hears our prayer, sorrow, praise? You need eyes and ears for that.
It is a case of bad transulation, and rewriting of Bible. Slaves from pagen lands often where the scribes working under a king.
God is a molten image, from pouring. Is not living. My Creator is not with out ears or eyes, heart, spirit, nor arms, so I'll stick with Yahweh.
When Yahweh is trying to give us something NEW we can not hang on to what we have, with both hands/clenched fists. Ask Yahweh guide you to new or not certain perspective picture.
40 years God's people wandered because of disobedience (sin). Ironicly, still today it takes a man about 40 years to come around to God's way of thinking.
God purifies his people via
Step 1.) Purify - by hardship & trials,
Step 2.) Multiplication - All areas increase.
Step 3.) Blessings - Blessings come.
The hardship and trials prepares God's people for the TASK AHEAD.
These storms come because we are hangin on to something God does not want in your life. (Something which would get in your way of fulling your life/his plan.)
Tranformation in LIFE or HEART comes by RENEWAL of our Heart via the Word of God. God never leaves us or forsakes us. We turn our backs on him. A hard HEART, or Tr to do things on our own . Trying to run from him; the truth.
To and understand God, we must have the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit in us. Referred to as "Born Again". Or else we not truely christians.
People whom will be christians or peopel whom are TRUE christians will be disciplined for rebellion/sin/not going as God directs. BUT a true christian will return to God, and sin less.
A true christian whom lives a carnal life intentionally, will be disciplined, dying young. And the promised reward for a obedient life on earth and in heaven will be LESS, reward will be small. Hardtimes.
A true christian will feel bad, have a consious when they sin.
Disobedience will not be tolerated forever by God.
God always welcomes back his protocal sons and daughters with open hands, palms, arms.
When we follow after God, our desires change. Our ambitions change.
The inward change of HEART starts to become an ourward noticeble thing. Or should be.
Lifestyle, values, people associate with etc. god's people are willing to learn grown. Growth in itself is a form of life. Like seeds, fruit trees, buds. New born. Etc.
Thought: When one fears God, one is looking at him from behind. Turn away, left, leaving.
To have a relationship with someone, you face them, spend time in their presence.

As you can see, real dangers. We must keep deligent watch over our families, that they don't fall into these traps!
